Job summary

Flex in Pune, India is seeking a Technician for Engineering Change Management. You will support NPI/ECO activities, create BOM part numbers, AVL records and release documents for production. The role requires coordination with process and product engineering teams and effective communication in English.

You will work with Agile and Baan systems, review ECOs, and help ensure on-time implementation of changes while meeting key process targets. Diploma or BSc in EEE/ECE with 0–2 years is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BSc in EEE/ECE with 0–2 years in NPI/ECO in manufacturing.
• Strong electronics knowledge, schematic symbols, and PCB basics.
• Analytical thinking, good written English and email writing.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic Excel VBA, PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and electronics components.
• Willingness to coach/mentor and support process changes.

Responsibilities

• Create part numbers for BOM in Agile & Baan systems.
• Create AVL in Agile & Baan systems; release documents in CDC.
• Act as Change Analyst during NPI for new ECOs.
• Release part lists to production after ECOs are implemented.
• Study ECOs/drawings and coordinate with Process/Product Eng teams.
• Review product updates with Engineering and Materials teams; respond to queries.

Job Summary

Typical Day

• Creating part numbers for BOM in agile & Baan
• Creating AVL in agile & Baan system
• Downloading customer documents like product specifications etc & releasing same in CDC
• Work as a Change Analyst during NPI for new changes
• Release Part list to production for new models & after implementation of ECO's
• Study the ECOs / Drawings closely and coordinate with the site Process / Product Engineering team
• Work closely with Engineering and materials teams to review product updates / modifications
• Respond to Business Partner (requestor) and customer on queries relating to Engineering Change Orders
• Ensure adherence to targets set for all Process Metrics
• Good in People management & Leadership skills

Experience and Skills

• Diploma or B.SC (EEE/ECE) graduate with (0-2) years of experience as a NPI/ECO Engineer in Manufacturing set up Preferably in EMS Industry.
• Electronic components with schematic symbols Knowledge of Electronics Process/Methods,Knowledge of Electronics Machine and types of electronics components.
• Analytical & Logical reasoning and E-mail writing.
• Basic Power Point skills and knowledge in Excel VBA.
• Knowledge in Auto CAD/Design Software and knowledge on PCB basis and problem solving skills.
• Basic Concepts of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine learning (ML).
• Knowledge of MS office and MS outlook.
• Good analytical skills.
• Coaching & mentoring skills.
• Conflict resolution.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English MANDATORY.
