Job summary

Digitide is seeking an experienced IT infrastructure professional to provide advanced Windows Server administration, Active Directory and hybrid cloud support. The role focuses on incident resolution, root cause analysis, security hardening, and enterprise-scale virtualization across VMware/Hyper-V environments.

You will manage AD, DNS/DHCP, GPOs, patching, and cloud integrations while coordinating with storage, backup, and migration teams.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in Windows Server administration.
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO and file/print services.
• Exposure to virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, OCI).
• Scripting and automation using PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Handle server performance, patching, and upgrades.
• Support IIS, Remote Desktop Services, and PowerShell automation.
• Monitor infrastructure health and capacity.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring incidents.

• Perform advanced troubleshooting for critical incidents.
• Implement security hardening and compliance controls.
• Manage Windows Server upgrades, migrations, and modernization projects.
• Support Azure AD/Entra ID and hybrid environments.
• Lead DR and Business Continuity planning.
• Administer and support virtualization with VMware/Hyper-V.
• Perform VM migrations and related tasks.
• Coordinate with storage/backup teams for VM backup and recovery.
• Assist in cloud migrations and workload modernization.

Job Description

Provide advanced support for Windows infrastructure, Windows Servers, Active Directory, and enterprise services. Responsible for incident resolution, root cause analysis, and operational support.

Responsibilities

• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and file services.
• Handle server performance, patching, and upgrades.
• Support IIS, Remote Desktop Services, and PowerShell automation.

• Lead DR (Disaster Recovery) and Business Continuity planning.
• Administer and support virtualized environments using VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V .
• Perform VM migrations using vMotion, Storage vMotion, and Live Migration .
• Troubleshoot virtualization-related issues including VM performance, storage, networking, and host failures.
• Coordinate with storage and backup teams for VM backup and recovery operations.
• Assist in virtualization infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and optimization projects.
• Administer and support Windows Server workloads hosted on AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Manage EC2 instances, EBS volumes, AMIs, VPC connectivity, Security Groups, and AWS Systems Manager (SSM).
• Assist in cloud migrations, server provisioning, and workload modernization initiatives.
