Job summary

GEA Group in Vadodara, India, is seeking an Engineer - Electrical to design and document electrical systems for pharma solid dosage equipment. You will work with PLC hardware, EPLAN P8, and IEC standards, coordinating with project teams and suppliers.

Based in the India office, you will travel 6-8 weeks for site support and FAT across India and abroad, and you will contribute to panel design, wiring diagrams, and control system integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Controls or similar background.
• 3–8 years of experience in pharma solid dosage or compression machine engineering industries.
• Proficient in electrical design, standards, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Electrical loop drawings, panel design and layout using EPLAN P8.
• Prepare instrumentations and hook-up drawings.
• Design control systems and configure industrial network architectures.
• Wiring schematics for switchboards and control panels.
• Cable calculations and cable tray layout.
• Provide information for documentation and manuals.

Responsibilities / Tasks

Role & Responsibilities

• Responsible for electrical design. Works according to the applicable quality procedures.
• Works based on customer specifications.
• Designs according to the most efficient principles, both in terms of cost, quality, and planning.
• Maintains contact with suppliers and electrical subcontractors.
• Creates the necessary drawings and parts lists and passes them on to the work preparation team.
• Provides the necessary information for the preparation of documentation and manuals.
• Is the internal point of contact for questions regarding electrical engineering projects.

Profile And Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering Degree in

Work Experience - Engineer - Electrical

• Experience on Pharma Solid Dosage, Compression Machine Engineering Industry

• Depth Knowledge of Eplan P8 (2023) Software - Master database & Reports, Electrical Schematics
• Depth knowledge of PLC hardware and field connection with siemens & Rockwell make PLC's
• Machinery standard IEC-60204 Know-how
• Switchgear assembly standard IEC-61439 Know-how
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and co-ordinations with various project teams

• The Engineer would be based in India office
• 6-8 weeks travel will be required, Involving in Electrical site support, Panel FAT throughout India & abroad, Trainings in India & abroad.
