Role Overview:

As an Associate Director – CA, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the financial health of the organization. Your day-to-day activities will involve leading a team of finance professionals, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. You will collaborate closely with various internal teams, including accounting, auditing, and taxation, as well as external stakeholders such as auditors and regulatory bodies. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving sound financial decision-making, optimizing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, ultimately contributing to the company’s sustainable growth and success.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage the accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring compliance with IFRS and GAAP standards for accurate and timely financial statements.

  • Oversee the annual budgeting process, working with department heads to develop realistic and achievable budgets that align with the company’s strategic goals.

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, providing actionable insights to senior management.

  • Manage the company’s tax planning and compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to all applicable tax laws and regulations.

  • Direct internal and external audits, ensuring the integrity of financial controls and processes.

  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and mitigate financial risks.

  • Provide financial leadership on strategic initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and capital investments.

  • Oversee the valuation of assets and liabilities, ensuring accurate and reliable financial reporting.

  • Monitor and manage the company’s risk profile, identifying and mitigating potential financial risks.


Required Skillset:


  • Demonstrated expertise in financial accounting, auditing, and financial reporting, with a strong understanding of IFRS and GAAP.

  • Proven ability to develop and manage budgets, conduct financial analysis, and provide strategic financial guidance.

  • In-depth knowledge of taxation principles and regulations, with experience in tax planning and compliance.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial audiences.

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6-10 years of relevant experience.
