Job summary

Snapmint is seeking an Associate Director - Business Strategy & Finance to partner with founders and senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning. The role focuses on analysing customer data, risk, and growth opportunities across our business model.

The incumbent will build financial models, drive performance reporting, and develop dashboards to track KPIs, delivering actionable insights to accelerate Snapmint's growth trajectory.

• 7-10 years of experience across strategy, finance, or a mix of both in startups, consulting, or finance services.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical abilities are required.
• Proactive mindset with ownership and prioritization in ambiguous environments.

About the Role

We're looking for someone who can sit at the intersection of strategy and finance - manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the business, while also being comfortable analysing customer and risk data to spot growth opportunities. You'll work closely with the founders and senior leadership on decisions that span business planning, new bets, and growth opportunities.

What You Own

Financial Planning & Budgeting:

• Develop and manage the annual budget, periodic forecasts, and long-term financial plans in alignment with business objectives.
• Partner with the Business team, to ensure accurate financial projections.
• Track budget performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions to drive financial efficiency.
• Ability to comprehend new business models and do business modelling outlining growth opportunities and driving strategies for rollout.

Business Performance Analysis:

• Analyze customer cohorts, sales trends, spread and delinquency to identify growth opportunities as well as understanding the risk related aspects
• Develop financial models and conduct scenario analysis for new business initiatives
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
• Develop dashboards to track performance across LOB's - incorporating necessary cuts related to the respective LOB - essentially covering: Customer Metrics, Lending Metrices, Profitability & Risk cuts.

What You Bring

• 7-10 years of experience across strategy, finance, or a mix of both - consulting, investment banking, or in-house strategy/FP&A at a startup or financial services firm
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
• Proactive mindset with willingness to take ownership
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to prioritize without constant direction
