CRA is seeking an Associate Designer (Mechanical Draftsman) to support the design and drafting of mechanical systems across product lines. This hands-on role is ideal for early-career professionals eager to grow in CAD modelling, fabrication drawings, piping layouts, and structural design.
You will work closely with project engineers and production teams to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and aligned with industry standards.

Role Overview
As an Associate Design Engineer, you’ll support the design and drafting of mechanical systems and assemblies across CRA’s product lines. This is a hands-on role for early-career professionals who are excited to grow their skills across CAD modelling, fabrication drawings, piping layouts, and structural design.
Assist in the preparation of 2D models and drawings
Generate manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and isometrics for fabricated parts and assemblies.
Develop layout drawings including GA, piping, and P&IDs.
Collaborate with project engineers and production teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable
Carry out basic simulations (thermal, structural) and design validations.
Update design documentation based on change requests and engineering feedback.
Participate in technical discussions and design reviews.
Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
2–4 years of experience in mechanical design, ideally in Oil & Gas, Energy, or Industrial Equipment.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, and SolidWorks; familiarity with Plant 3D is a plus.
Awareness of engineering standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, ISO.
Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and team mindset.
