Associate Creative Director – Concept & Design (Events & Experiences)
Role Summary
Associate Creative Director – Concept & Design. Responsible for leading the thinking, storytelling, and visual direction behind large-format corporate events, brand experiences, MICE programs, and live activations. Bridges idea – design – pitch – execution, ensuring every concept is original, relevant, and executable in the real world.
What You Will Own
- Lead end‑to‑end concept ideation for corporate events, brand launches, conferences, family days, award nights, and experiential activations
- Translate client briefs into strong central ideas, themes, narratives, and experience journeys
- Develop event story arcs—opening moments, transitions, high points, and closures
- Ensure concepts are strategic, sellable, and scalable, not just visually appealing
- Set the creative direction for stage design, spatial layouts, branding, content flow, and guest experience
- Guide 2D & 3D designers on look, feel, colour palettes, typography, and visual language
- Review and refine designs to ensure consistency with the concept and brand guidelines
- Balance ambition with production realities, budgets, and timelines
- Lead creative inputs for client pitches, RFPs, and presentations
- Present concepts confidently to clients and internal leadership
- Adapt ideas based on feedback without diluting the core thought
- Support the business team with concept rationale and storytelling, not just slides
- Work closely with Production, Ops, Sales, and Client Servicing teams to ensure concepts are executable
- Participate in recce discussions, feasibility reviews, and cost‑impact conversations
- Support live event execution to ensure the creative vision is delivered on‑ground
- Maintain EVENT U ROX’s creative standards across all deliverables
- Bring in fresh references, global trends, formats, and experience innovations
- Mentor junior designers and concept team members
- Build a culture of strong thinking, clean design, and disciplined creativity
Experience
- Proven track record of leading concepts for large‑scale corporate or brand events
Skills & Capabilities
- Strong conceptual thinking and storytelling ability
- Solid understanding of event formats, stagecraft, guest journeys, and brand experiences
- Working knowledge of 2D & 3D design (directing effectiveness)
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines
