Aligned Automation is seeking an Associate Consultant to support digital transformation and AI-enabled initiatives. You will contribute to project delivery by gathering requirements, documenting processes, and supporting implementation under senior staff guidance.

The role develops techno-functional consulting skills with exposure to enterprise apps, analytics, Agile delivery, and client engagement. Ideal candidates are analytical, curious, and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies.

Qualifications

• 0–4 years of experience in Business Analysis, Technology Consulting, Software Delivery, Project Coordination, or related roles.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Analytics, or related disciplines.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, documentation, and presentation abilities.
• Basic understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Passion for learning AI, automation, analytics, and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support Consultants in delivering digital transformation and AI-enabled initiatives across the SDLC.
• Assist in requirement gathering, documentation, testing, implementation, and post-go-live support.
• Track tasks, milestones, and dependencies to ensure timely completion.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Gather and document business requirements, BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process maps.

About the Role

The Associate Consultant is an early-career consulting professional responsible for supporting digital transformation and AI-enabled initiatives through business analysis, project execution, and continuous learning. Working under the guidance of Consultants, Senior Consultants, and Principal Consultants, the Associate Consultant contributes to project delivery by gathering requirements, documenting business processes, performing analysis, coordinating project activities, and supporting implementation.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop techno-functional consulting skills while gaining exposure to enterprise technologies, AI, analytics, Agile delivery, and client engagement. The ideal candidate is analytical, curious, collaborative, and eager to learn emerging technologies and consulting methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery Support

• Support Consultants in delivering digital transformation and AI-enabled initiatives across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Assist in executing project activities including requirement gathering, documentation, testing, implementation, and post-go-live support.
• Track assigned tasks, project milestones, action items, and dependencies to ensure timely completion.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support successful project execution.

Business Analysis & Documentation

• Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder discussions and workshops.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, process maps, meeting minutes, and other project documentation.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Support solution walkthroughs, requirement validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Maintain project documentation and knowledge repositories.

Technology & AI Exposure

• Develop an understanding of enterprise applications, AI, Generative AI, analytics, and automation technologies.
• Support implementation teams by validating business requirements and documenting functional solutions.
• Assist in preparing dashboards, reports, and business insights using analytical tools where applicable.
• Continuously build technical knowledge through certifications, training, and project experience.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with business users, delivery teams, and project stakeholders.
• Participate in client meetings, workshops, and solution demonstrations.
• Communicate project updates, action items, and documentation clearly and professionally.
• Seek guidance from senior team members while proactively taking ownership of assigned tasks.

Learning & Continuous Improvement

• Develop consulting, business analysis, and project management capabilities through structured learning and hands‑on project experience.
• Contribute ideas to improve project delivery, documentation, and operational efficiency.
• Support the development of reusable templates, best practices, and knowledge assets.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in AI, analytics, automation, and digital transformation.
