Job summary

MKS Instruments/Atotech in India seeks an Associate Chemist to execute R&D tasks, support product development, testing, qualification, and process optimization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain open communication to drive project progress.

Qualifications

  • MSc. in Organometallic Chemistry/Physical Chemistry/Organic Chemistry.
  • Experience in working laboratories, developing and testing formulations & products, and qualification.
  • Preferred knowledge in chemistry.
  • Project execution and DoE preparation.
  • Creative, structured and methodical workstyle.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • High energy, new ideas and ownership.
  • 6 months–1 year of R&D experience with focus in Chemistry.

Responsibilities

  • IWBS and DoE creation, executing the assigned tasks and DoEs of core projects and other assigned administrational tasks.
  • Perform and execute assigned tasks and DoE towards project completion.
  • Develop and modify product formulation.
  • Testing and qualification of developed/existing products as per SOP.
  • Working and collaborating with other team members in laboratory environment.
  • Bringing in your own ideas and approaches to the work.
  • Documentation of the ongoing tasks according to the prescribed format.
  • Regular communication of task completion progress to stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and self-initiated actions to maintain the project activity.
  • Maintenance of 5S and safety as per IMS and department guidelines.
  • Active participation in team building.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of the projects and other Departmental information.
  • Supporting customer process, troubleshooting and site visit.

Role Description

The ‘Associate Chemist’ will carry out different approaches and methodologies to conduct different R&D activities related to product development, testing, qualification, troubleshooting, and process optimization. You will be working closely with colleagues from your own team, other cross-functional departments, and customer support. The role is expected to maintain an open communication with team memebers.


Your Responsibilities

What will you bring to the team


  • MSc. in Organometallic Chemistry/Physical Chemistry/Organic Chemistry.

  • Experience in working laboratories, developing, and testing of formulations & products, and qualification.
