Job summary

Plastics For Change in Delhi, India seeks a results‑driven Business Development professional to expand stakeholder networks and drive procurement/sales of plastics materials. You will lead market research, negotiate with recyclers, and align sourcing with WFTO ethical standards.

The role focuses on building long-term partnerships, guiding procurement strategies, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations while delivering growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in plastics, sustainability, waste management, recycling, or a related field.
• Experience in market research and business development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential stakeholders such as recyclers, suppliers, industries and new geographic areas for expansion.
• Lead market studies for procurement and sales of raw materials (plastics such as PET, HDPE, LDPE, PP, HIPS, ABS).
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities and regulatory developments to inform strategies.
• Lead negotiations with Aggregators/Balers and Recyclers to finalize commercial terms, pricing and agreements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, recyclers and internal teams to ensure timely collections and material movement.
• Ensure sourcing activities comply with waste management regulations and WFTO ethics framework.
