Job summary

Guidehouse India is seeking an EBO Accounts Receivable professional in India to manage claims status, communicate with insurance companies, and drive timely resolutions. The role requires detailing actions taken, prioritizing aging claims, and maintaining strict confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.

Candidates should have a graduate degree, strong phone presentation, 1+ year US Healthcare AR experience, and solid organizational and analytical skills. MS Office proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Initiate calls to request status of claims in queue.
• Contact insurance companies for explanations of denials and underpayments.
• Take actions to resolve claims and ensure timely follow-up.
• Document actions in claims billing summary notes.
• Prioritize pending claims from aging basket for calling.
• Make calls following confidentiality and HIPAA rules.
• Work on denials and LOAs and correct claims as needed.
• Follow information security policy and report incidents.

What You Will Do:

What You Will Do: Initiate calls requesting status of claims in queue. Contact insurance companies for further explanation of denials and underpayments Take appropriate action on claims to guarantee resolution. Ensure accurate and timely follow up where required. Document actions taken in claims billing summary notes To prioritize the pending claims for calling from the aging basket To make a physical call by following the international norms and applicable rules for confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Responsible for working on Denials, Rejections, LOA's to accounts, making required corrections to claims. Shall understand and abide by the organizations’ information security policy and protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all information assets. Shall report incidents related to security of information to concerned authorities.

What You Will Need: Must be a graduate Good voice and demonstrate professional demeanour via phone. Must have 1 + yrs of experience in US Healthcare stream in AR Good organizational skills demonstrating the ability to execute timely follow-up. Ability to multi-task. Excellent analytical skills with understanding of health care claims processing.
