Job summary

Eaton Technologies in Pune, India, is seeking a CI specialist to lead continuous improvement initiatives within the Global Logistics COE. You will guide cross-functional teams across operations, manufacturing, and supply chain, driving projects and fostering a culture of continual improvement.

The role requires 2–3 years' CI experience, engineering background, and proficiency with lean tools (ELSS, VSM, 5S).

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree or equivalent.
• 2-3 years experience in a Continuous Improvement role and environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI initiatives across Global Logistics and regional scopes.
• Identify opportunities, quantify impact, and manage improvement projects.
• Deploy CI strategy and lean tools to meet KPIs (quality, cost, service, inventory).
• Implement ELSS practices and assist Kaizen and 5S events.
• Address root causes and define corrective actions.
• Drive CI projects using DMAIC, run time studies, and update SOPs/work instructions.
• Engage logistics teams to promote Lean/CI culture and sustain improvements.
• Maintain flexibility to adapt CI activities to business needs.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ELSS tools and coordinate self-assessments.
• Deliver projects achieving annualized savings and coach others in lean.

What you ll do:

"Work as a key member of the GSC COE Logistics team. As CI specialist, Individual will play a vital role in leading supporting CI initiatives across Global Logistics department. This role demands to identify opportunities for improvements, drive projects and foster culture of continuous Improvement. This role will have different scope with different geografical impact (regional, cross-regional and global), and will be related to the main Logistics strategic areas of interest. The position will be reporting to Logistics Manager- in COE and will be working closely with global stakeholders to drive CI Initiatives.

Centre of Excellence journey - will work with CI manager to implement key actions for the Centre of Excellence journey for the Logistics team.

The position will require working in a cross functional team.

• "-Support change initiatives across all areas of the business by identifying, quantifying, and managing projects from operations, manufacturing, supply chain and support functions.
• "-Deploy the Continuous Improvement (CI) strategy and lean tools techniques to meet business KPIs, focusing on process improvements in quality, cost, service, and inventory.

• "-Demonstrate proficiency in ELSS tools such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Standard Work, and 5S; coordinate ELSS self-assessments and implement action plans to address gaps.
• "-Deliver projects and plans that achieve annualized savings as defined by business objectives.
• "-Lead, train, and coach others in lean tools and techniques, building expertise throughout the business and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to meet KPIs.
• "-Own and manage the Kaizen calendar, ensuring deployment and support of activities throughout the business.
• "-Daily monitoring of CI projects and providing resolution for bottlenecks

Qualifications:

• Engineering Degree or equivalent
• 2-3 years experience in a Continuous Improvement role and environment

Skills:
