Job summary

BFSI Sector Skill Council of India seeks an Associate – Bancassurance to support branch teams with day-to-day coordination, customer interaction, and bancassurance operations. You will assist in lead follow-ups, documentation, and product pitches to drive monthly business targets.

The role focuses on branch-level support, MIS updates, and coordination of promotional activities with the channel partner, ensuring smooth execution of sales processes.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Undergraduate in any discipline.
• 0–2 years in Insurance / BFSI / Bancassurance preferred; freshers with strong communication can apply.
• Strong communication and customer-facing mindset.
• Ability to coordinate with branch staff and maintain MIS/reports.

Responsibilities

• Branch Coordination & Relationship Management: assist in managing and strengthening relationships with assigned bank branches and support branch staff with queries and customer servicing.
• Sales Support & Business Facilitation: assist in lead follow-ups, customer profiling, and product pitching as guided by supervisors; help execute branch-level sales strategies to meet targets.
• Promotion & Activity Support: assist in branch-level promotional activities to generate leads and enhance product visibility; coordinate training sessions and local campaigns with channel partners.
• Process Management & Reporting: maintain MIS, daily activity trackers, call logs, and branch performance updates; ensure timely reporting and smooth policy issuance and onboarding.
• Market & Competitor Awareness: gather insights on competitor products and bank activities; report observations to managers to support local strategies.

Position Summary

The Associate – Bancassurance will support business generation activities at assigned bank

branches. The role involves assisting branch teams with day-to-day coordination,

documentation, customer interaction, and supporting the sales process to ensure smooth

execution of bancassurance operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Branch Coordination & Relationship Management

• Assist in managing and strengthening relationships with assigned bank branches.
• Support branch staff with insurance product queries and basic customer servicing

requirements.

• Ensure consistent branch engagement to enable smooth business operations.

2. Sales Support & Business Facilitation

• Support the branch and sales team in lead follow-ups, customer profiling, and

product pitching as guided by supervisors.

• Assist in executing sales strategies at the branch level to achieve monthly business

targets.

• Coordinate documentation, proposal forms, and required compliance checks.

3. Promotion & Activity Support

Assist in branch-level promotional activities to generate leads and enhance product visibility.

• Support training sessions or product refreshers for branch officials when required.
• Coordinate local campaigns or initiatives planned with the channel partner.

4. Process Management & Reporting

• Maintain MIS, daily activity trackers, call logs, and branch performance updates.
• Ensure accuracy and timely submission of reports to Team Leader/Manager.
• Follow internal processes to ensure smooth policy issuance and customer onboarding.

5. Market & Competitor Awareness

• Gather basic insights on competitor products and bank activities at the ground level.
• Share relevant observations with reporting managers to support local strategies.

Qualification & Experience Requirements

Education

• Graduate/Under Graduate in any discipline.

Experience

• 0–2 years of experience in Insurance / BFSI / Bancassurance preferred.
• Freshers with strong communication and interested in insurance sales can apply too.
