Experience Required

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Insurance Sales.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in team handling and sales leadership roles.
• Experience in managing multiple branches, territories, or distribution channels will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of the General Insurance market.

Role Summary

Policybazaar is seeking an experienced and result-oriented Assistant Zonal Manager to support the Zonal Manager in driving business growth, achieving sales targets, and leading high-performing sales teams across the assigned zone. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities, in-depth knowledge of the General Insurance industry, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Zonal Manager in achieving zonal business objectives and sales targets.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Area Managers, Territory Managers, and field sales teams to maximize performance.
• Monitor sales performance across assigned territories and implement corrective actions where required.
• Execute sales strategies, business plans, and growth initiatives to drive revenue and market expansion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, intermediaries, and key customers.
• Conduct regular business reviews, coaching sessions, and performance management activities.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and operational standards.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities to improve market penetration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Prepare and present periodic business performance reports to senior leadership.
