Job summary

Marsh Risk India, a Marsh business, seeks an Assistant Vice President to join the Risk Management Team in Mumbai. This hybrid role requires in-office presence at least three days a week.

You will drive new business generation, cross-selling, and claims advocacy while leveraging insurer relationships and client needs to grow revenue and protect client interests.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage & build relationships with internal and external customers, insurance partners and servicing vendors.
• Domain knowledge preferred.
• 6-9 years of corporate relationship management experience from a service background.
• Proven ability to establish relationships and work with teams at all levels to close business.

Responsibilities

• Identify key decision makers, clients or prospects, risks and needs and determine services, products and combinations to address client objectives.
• Negotiate terms with markets and suggest better terms for existing policies.
• Retain and expand existing client relationships.
• Coordinate with underwriters to meet client requirements.
• Visit insurers regularly to ensure ongoing engagement with stakeholders.
