The role involves coordinating with academic and administrative departments, preparing regular admission reports, and contributing to process improvements within admissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; master's degree is an added advantage.
• 5+ years of experience in admissions, education counselling, student recruitment, or sales.
• Prior experience in team handling or team coordination.
• Experience in achieving admission or sales targets.
• Good understanding of lead management and admission processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Team Leader in managing and supervising the Admissions Team.
• Guide, motivate, and monitor the performance of admissions counsellors.
• Handle student and parent enquiries and provide appropriate admission guidance.
• Drive lead conversion and ensure achievement of individual and team admission targets.
• Monitor daily follow-ups, lead pipelines, applications, and admission closures.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of student applications and documentation.
• Coordinate with academic, finance, and other internal departments.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly admission performance reports.
• Handle escalated student and parent queries professionally.
• Support team training, performance improvement, and operational efficiency.

Role Description The Assistant Team Lead – Admissions is a full-time, on-site role located in Coimbatore. This role supports the admissions team in managing the end-to-end admissions process, including responding to inquiries, guiding prospective learners through application requirements, and ensuring timely follow-up. The Assistant Team Lead helps coordinate and assign daily tasks to admission associates, monitors application pipelines, and maintains accurate records in admissions systems. They collaborate with academic and administrative departments to align admissions decisions with program criteria and institutional policies. The role also involves contributing to outreach initiatives, improving applicant experience, preparing regular admission reports, and supporting continuous process improvement within the admissions function.
