Suntory Global Spirits invites you to join its India sales team in Puducherry as a senior sales professional. A Graduate/MBA with 8+ years in Spirits & Beverages Sales, FMCG, and experience handling Off Trade/On Trade accounts will drive strategy, volume and margins.

Qualifications

• Graduate/MBA required.
• 8+ years' experience in Spirits & Beverages Sales, FMCG.
• Experience handling Off Trade/On Trade accounts.

Responsibilities

• Implement sales strategy and calendar.
• Deliver sales volume, product mix, and margins by monitoring supply, trends, economics and competitors' activities.
• Drive sales operations, reporting and target tracking.
• Manage existing accounts and develop the customer base.
• Lead initiatives like visibility programs, distribution expansion and efficiency building.
• Ensure receivables are within company norms and credit control is in place.
• Resolve customer service issues and escalate as needed.
• Drive sales automation and data analysis using IT tools for better results.
• Utilise Brand Investment in planning and executing promotions and activations.
• Secure MOUs/LOIs with accounts and deliverables as per terms.

Role Responsibilities

• Implementation of sales strategy and subsequently sales and marketing activity calendar.


• Deliver sales volume, product mix, and gross / net margins by keeping track of supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitor's activities.


• Drive sales operational requirements & reporting; following up on results versus targets.


• Actively undertake account management and development of existing customer base


• Drive sales development initiatives like Visibility programs, Distribution expansion and efficiency building programs. In addition, help the immediate manager in designing / recommending market development initiatives basis competitor activities and market intelligence.


• Ensure receivables are within agreed company norms, Credit Control is implemented while planning sales for the month and beyond.


• Play an active role in resolving any customer service-related matters, conflicts and elevate any issues to immediate manager for timely resolution


• Drive sales automation programs and data analysis using latest IT tools for superior results


• Effective utilization of Brand Investment in Planning and Executing various promotional activities, activations etc.


• Ensure timely MOU/LOI with accounts and deliverables as per agreed terms.
