Godrej Properties in Pune is seeking a seasoned Safety Engineer to lead site safety practices across regional projects. The role demands a BE with Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety and 7–8 years of construction safety experience.

The candidate will conduct safety audits, coordinate with multiple sites, train workers, and ensure compliance with BO CW Central Rules. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred.

• BE with Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) and 7–8 years of construction safety experience.
• Experience in safety practices in construction reality/sector.
• Familiarity with language spoken by majority of workers in the project region.

Role & responsibilities

• i) Basic qualification: Degree in engineering (civil/ mechanical/ electrical etc)
• ii) Professional qualifications: Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (one year duration course from State Board of Technical Exam, recognized under State Factories Rules / BOCW Central Rules) or Diploma in Construction Safety Management from NICMAR.
• iii) Experience: Minimum 7-10 years' experience in safety practices in reality /construction sector.
• iv) Has adequate knowledge of the language spoken by majority of the workers in the region in which the construction project is located.
• v) Duties: as laid down in Schedule VIII of BOCW Central Rules and as prescribed below.
• vi) Coordination to all sites in Pune Regional projects.
• vii) Site safety audit and inspection of projects & follow-up with concern for implementation & ensure compliance.
• Viii) Safety Training to Worker & Staff.
• Xi) Able to work with MS Word, Excel, Power Point.
• X} Must having good communication skill & able to communicate at all level.
