SMEC (Surbana Jurong Group member) is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer for the ARRBP in Assam. You will assist the Resident Engineer with supervision of bridge works, contract management, and QA/QC throughout project implementation, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.
The role requires 5–8 years of relevant field experience in bridge/road projects, familiarity with external aid projects, and knowledge of IRC, MoRTH, and IS codes.
Job Title: Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) Project: Assam Resilient Rural Bridge Program (ARRBP) Location: Four Project Zones - Assam Reporting To: Project Manager Qualification & Experience: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Full-time). Minimum 5-8 years of experience in supervision of bridge / road / rural infrastructure projects. Experience in externally aided projects (World Bank / ADB funded projects preferred). Strong knowledge of IRC, MoRTH, and relevant IS codes.
