Assistant Quality Assurance Manager - Machine Shop

Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

Candidate is responsible for ensuring that all machined products in the machine shop meet consistent customer quality standards. This role involves developing and implementing quality control processes, inspecting products at various stages of production, and maintaining consistent quality standards.

• Develop and monitor quality control plan in line with customer requirements.
• Inspect products at various stages of production.
• Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Hold periodic meetings with customers to understand quality issues and develop plans for quality issues.
• Train and guide staff, including inspectors and technicians, and provide feedback.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on quality performance and quality cost reduction.
• Prepare monthly quality reports and address quality rejections.
• Collaborate with suppliers to set and monitor quality standards for raw materials and intermediate products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering is must.
• 7 to 11 years' relevant work experience and ability to handle customer issues independently.
• Excellent customer handling skills and communication and presentation skills.
