Job summary

HRH Group of Hotels is seeking a skilled Purchasing professional to manage end-to-end procurement activities within our hotel operations. The role focuses on converting requisitions into POs, onboarding suppliers, negotiating terms, and maintaining supplier performance against SLAs.

You will monitor stock levels, partner with finance for three-way matching, and supervise junior team members while ensuring adherence to statutory and company regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end procurement processes.
• Understanding of supplier evaluation and onboarding.
• Knowledge of SLAs and contract compliance.

Job description

• Day-to-Day Purchasing Operations: Convert requisitions and demand plans into purchase orders (POs), track acknowledgements, and manage delivery schedules.
• Vendor & Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, maintain approved vendor lists, and monitor supplier performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Negotiation & Cost Control: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery commitments with vendors to drive year-on-year cost savings.
• Inventory & Stock Oversight: Monitor stock levels and reorder points to prevent stockouts or excess inventory, and manage slow-moving or obsolete stock.
• Invoice & Payment Reconciliation: Partner with finance teams to perform three-way matching (PO, Goods Received Note, and Invoice), clear discrepancies, and reconcile vendor accounts.
• Team Supervision: Guide, train, and support junior purchasing staff, buyers, or procurement analysts.
• Reporting & Compliance: Maintain purchasing logs, generate spend/savings reports, and ensure all buying activities follow statutory and company regulations.
