Job summary

Getinge is seeking a Manager- Projects in Delhi to lead end‑to‑end medical device installation projects. You will plan, coordinate, and monitor activities across engineering, HVAC, civil, and logistics teams, ensuring on‑time delivery and within budget.

The role requires 10+ years in medical devices with at least 5 years as a Project Manager, strong leadership, and excellent communication to manage high‑level customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in medical devices, with at least 5 years as Project Manager.
• Experience in hospital projects is a plus.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Experience coordinating with HVAC, MEP, MGPS, civil and logistics.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines & site regulations.
• Proficient in project management software/tools.

Responsibilities

Job Overview

Manager- Projects will lead and manage medical device installation projects from inception to completion. This role involves strategic planning, resource management, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and documentation.
• Maintain strong relationship with all project stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met, fostering collaboration, and resolving conflicts promptly.
• Lead the meetings with customers, consultants, and contractor.
• Proactively address and resolve issues that arise during the project to prevent disruptions and ensure smooth progress.
• Monitor and control project budgets to prevent cost overruns and ensure financial resources are used efficiently.
• Review the drawings & ensure correct drawings passed to Installation Teams for execution.
• Monitor project progress and performance.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to protect the company's interests.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with company QMS SOP, and company product installation requirements.
• Prepare and present project reports to management.
• Conduct Post-Project review to gather lessons learned to improve future projects.
• Ensure proper installation & commissioning by installation teams, testing, validation, and handover documentation is completed and approved.
• Maintain accurate project records, approvals, and as-built drawings.
• Evaluate vendor and contractor performance against contractual obligations and healthcare standards.
• Ensure contractors adhere to hospital safety policies and site protocols.
• Review invoices, variation orders, and contract deliverables.
• Bachelor’s degree in project management, Engineering, or related field.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Extensive experience in project management, hospital projects is a plus.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Should have minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of Medical Devices
• Out of total experience, should have spent at least 5 years as Project Manager
• Should have knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, MS Projects etc.
• Should have experience of coordinating with HVAC, MEP, MGPS, Civil engineering & logistic agencies.
• Should have knowledge of safety guidelines & regulations to be followed at site.
• Should have experience of handling communication with high level customers.
• Should be a team player& have time management skill.
