Job summary

A leading global real estate services firm is seeking an Assistant Project Manager - ELV (Industrial) in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This role involves supporting the Project Manager in the execution and coordination of all MEP works for industrial projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and safety standards. The ideal candidate must have a B.E in Electrical Engineering and 8 to 10 years of experience in industrial projects, with a strong understanding of MEP systems and coordination across disciplines.

• Familiarity with ELV and BMS.
• Ability to monitor and track project schedules.

About the Role

• Assist in planning and execution of ELV, BMS and Utility systems.
• Coordinate with MEP contractors, consultants, and civil team.
• Ensure MEP works are executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor site progress and track project schedule.
• Review shop drawings and material submittals.
• Ensure proper coordination between MEP and structural/architectural works.
• Monitor testing & commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory norms.
• Prepare progress reports and support review meetings.
• Resolve routine site issues and escalate major concerns.

About You

• B.E Electrical Engineering
• 8 to 10 years’ experience in industrial projects
• Good understanding of industrial MEP systems and utilities.
• Knowledge of ELV, BMS
• Ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines.
