Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Thane to lead MEP coordination on data center projects. You will engage in initial design development, assess constructability, and ensure regulatory approvals are obtained promptly.

You will supervise cross-disciplinary design coordination, drive shop drawing approvals, and ensure on-site execution aligns with drawings, specs, and schedules. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• B.E. Electrical/Mech with 10+ years of experience in data center projects.
• Technical awareness of civil, electro-mechanical, and architectural works.
• Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
• Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Engage in initial design development of MEP services and assess constructability.
• Review design compliance and obtain necessary approvals in time.
• Coordinate with all services design disciplines and streamline reviews.
• Ensure shop drawings are submitted and approvals obtained.
• Implement approvals on site during execution in a timely manner.
• Execute services work per drawings and specifications within schedule and quality.
• Assist vendor selection and procurement consistent with client processes.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical/HVAC/plumbing systems.
• Manage handovers with complete documentation and as-built drawings.
• Initiate training for turnover team with contractors and consultants.

About the Role:

• Actively engage in initial design development of MEP Services and assess constructability of the design.
• Review legal and statutory compliance of design and follow up on obtaining approvals in time.
• Co-ordinate with all disciplines of Services Design
• Ensure Contractors submit shop drawings and obtain approval.
• Ensure conditions of approvals are implemented at site during execution in a timely and sequential manner.
• Execute services work as per the drawings, specification in line with schedule and quality.
• Provide value addition in the selection of vendors & local material supply vendors in line with the agreed procurement process with the Client.
• Responsible for installation, testing and commissioning of equipment related to all service (Electrical/HVAC/Plumbing ,Firefighting)
• Manage handovers, ensuring that all works are complete as per vendor contracts, receipt of all relevant documents like manuals and test certificates, as built drawings.
• Initiate Training to taking over team through Contractor, Consultants
