Job summary

DBS Bank India, Tiruppur branch, invites a proactive Assistant Officer, Personal Banker to join the Consumer Banking Group. You will drive acquisition and activation of salary and current accounts, promote cross-sell across banking products, and foster SME relationships within the local catchment.

You will engage with customers to understand needs, handle onboarding processes, and contribute to branch sales targets while delivering trusted financial guidance.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Graduation or post graduation.
• IRDA & AMFI certification preferred (must be obtained after joining).

Responsibilities

• Acquire new current and salary accounts from the branch catchment area.
• Activate accounts with UPI linkage, MO balance, and monitor wallet share growth across products (insurance, mortgages, UL, SIP, MF).
• Participate in corporate inductions and migrations within the catchment area.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams to leverage SME networks.
• Conduct low-cost micro-marketing activities in catchment areas to generate leads.
