Job summary

DBS invites applications for the Assistant Officer, Personal Banker role in the Consumer Banking Group at Eachanari, Coimbatore. The candidate will source and acquire current and savings accounts, activate accounts with UPI linkage, and work to grow wallet share across products including insurance and loans.

We seek 1–2 years of relevant banking sales experience, strong communication, and a target-driven mindset. Graduation is required and IRDA/AMFI certification is a plus after joining.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in banking sales.
• Graduation or post graduation completed.
• Sales & networking skills are required.
• Good communication and listening skills are essential.
• IRDA & AMFI certification is preferred. This is a must post joining.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new Current and Savings accounts from the branch catchment area.
• Activate accounts, UPI linkage, MO balance, savings balance, and increase wallet share across banking products.
• Participate in corporate inductions and migrations around the catchment area.
• Build strong relationships with internal SME teams and conduct low-cost micro marketing for lead generation.
