Job summary

DBS is seeking an Assistant Officer, Personal Banker in Kalyan, Mumbai to drive new account acquisition and wallet share for consumer banking products. You will activate accounts, ensure UPI linkage, and support balance maintenance while engaging with corporates for salary account sourcing.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, Graduation or PG, and strong communication and networking skills. IRDA/AMFI certification is preferred; banking knowledge and digital skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Graduation or Post Graduation.
• Sales & Networking skills.
• AMFI and IRDA certifications preferred; mandatory after joining.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new Current and Savings accounts from the branch catchment area.
• Activate accounts, handle UPI linkage, maintain M0 and savings balance, and promote wallet share across products.
• Participate in corporate inductions and migration events in the catchment area.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams to leverage SME relationships.
• Conduct low-cost micro marketing activities to generate leads in the catchment area.
