Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Mechanical or Mechatronics.
• 8–12 years in Lithium-ion cell manufacturing, Food/Beverage & pharma, Packing, Tyre industries, Auto and heavy engineering.
• Experience in utility operation & maintenance in similar industries.
• Knowledge of TPM concepts (5S, Kaizen, AM/PM).
• Safety protocols adherence during maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain utility and offline equipment; troubleshoot and repair.
• Develop maintenance systems and lead the team to meet KPIs.
• Provide TPM activities and safety trainings.
• Prepare scope of work for AMC and maintain records.
• Daily and monthly MIS data collection and reporting.
• Coordinate with service providers, purchasers, process and project teams.

Purpose of the Role

Responsible for the Utility Equipment & Offline Equipment Maintenance

Core- Plant Utility (HVAC system, compressors, Water and waste water system, clean room and dry room, BMS, ELV system, Fire system, Gas yard, Material handling equipment’s etc.

Key Responsibility Areas

Technical /Functional

• Ensure Operation & Maintenance and troubleshooting & repair of utility and offline equipment’s
• Develop and execute maintenance operation system and lead the team for the robust implementation to deliver target KPI.
• Lead and motivate the team and ensure 100 % utility operation as per plant requirement.
• In-depth Knowledge in mechanical utility like Chiller,AHU,Clean Room, CT, WTP, ETP and STP.
• Engage the team in technical training for operation and maintenance and support to project during installation and commissioning phase.
• Responsible for overall plant maintenance, utilities, facilities to reduce time and 100 % availability.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PDM), analysis and Corrective actions.

Knowledge Generic

Industrial and General Safety

• Ensuring safety protocols adherence during machine breakdown.
• Deliver Technical and safety training to Team.

TPM

• Understanding of TPM Concepts. (5S, Kaizen, AM, PM etc.)

IT Skills

• Hands on experience in MES/SAP systems.
• Computer Proficiency (MS Excel, Power point).

Job Context

• Ensure all the legal and statutory requirement fulfil for respective area.
• Maintain spare as per requirement and follow safety practices (LOTO, TBT, HIRA& EIA,Work permit ) during maintenance work.
• Prepare scope of work for AMC and maintain record as per requirement.
• Daily and monthly MIS data collection and report preparation as per requirement.
• Implementing Continuous Improvement ideas and cost saving projects.
• In-House Repair of Mechanical spares
• ShiftWise allocation of work and ensure timely completion during shifts and proper handover to next shift.
• Develop and maintain utility related documents as per standard requirement and controlling and providing accurate data reporting.
• Work closely with service provider, purchaser, process and project team.
