LifeCell International Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Manager – Upselling & Debt Collection to lead the telesales team in Kelambakkam, Chennai.

Qualifications

• Experienced in Telesales / Telecalling / Upselling / Debt Collection / Customer Retention.
• Strong in team leadership and people management.
• Excellent in English communication - both verbal and written.
• Highly target-oriented with strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MIS reporting, and performance dashboards.
• Capable of handling pressure, escalations, and challenging customer situations.
• Willing to work on the last Sunday of every month (Compensatory Off provided).

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, coach, and motivate the telesales team to achieve monthly sales and collection targets.
• Drive upselling and cross-selling strategies to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Improve debt recovery and collection efficiency through effective follow-up strategies.
• Track and analyze KPIs, conversion rates, revenue, call quality, and collection performance.
• Develop performance improvement plans and action strategies to achieve team targets.
• Conduct regular training, coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
• Handle customer escalations, grievances, and high-value cases professionally.
• Prepare and present MIS reports, dashboards, and performance analysis to management.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Operations to improve campaigns.
• Identify process gaps and implement initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As an Assistant Manager – Upselling & Debt Collection, you will be responsible for leading the telesales team, driving revenue and collection targets, improving team productivity, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, supervise, coach, and motivate the telesales team to achieve monthly sales and collection targets.
• Drive upselling and cross-selling strategies to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Improve debt recovery and collection efficiency through effective follow-up strategies.
• Track and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs, conversion rates, revenue, call quality, and collection performance.
• Develop performance improvement plans and action strategies to achieve team targets.
• Conduct regular training, coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
• Handle customer escalations, grievances, and high-value cases professionally.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, processes, and collection guidelines.
• Prepare and present MIS reports, dashboards, and performance analysis to management.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to improve campaigns and customer engagement.
• Identify process gaps and implement initiatives to improve team productivity and operational efficiency.
