Responsibilities

• Lead and manage telesales and collection teams to achieve revenue and collection targets.

• Drive debt recovery and collection performance through structured follow-up and escalation.
• Set targets and monitor performance to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
• Analyze sales, conversion, revenue, collection, productivity, call quality, and customer metrics.
• Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions and improvement plans.
• Lead training, coaching, mentoring, and performance development for Team Leaders and executives.
• Handle critical customer escalations and complex collection cases.
• Review MIS reports, dashboards, and performance insights with senior management.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, and Customer Experience teams.

LifeCell International Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dynamic, target-driven, and strategic Manager – Upselling & Debt Collection to lead and manage our telesales and collections operations.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Manager – Upselling & Debt Collection, you will be responsible for managing the overall telesales and collection function, driving revenue growth, collection efficiency, team productivity, customer retention, and operational excellence.

You will lead team leaders and telesales executives, establish performance strategies, monitor business KPIs, and ensure achievement of monthly and annual targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage the telesales and collection team to achieve revenue and collection targets.
• Develop and implement upselling, cross-selling, and customer retention strategies to maximize revenue.
• Drive debt recovery and collection performance through structured follow-up and escalation strategies.
• Set team targets, monitor performance, and ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual business goals.
• Analyze sales, conversion, revenue, collection, productivity, call quality, and customer performance metrics.
• Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions and improvement plans.
• Lead training, coaching, mentoring, and performance development for Team Leaders and telesales executives.
• Handle critical customer escalations, high-value accounts, and complex collection cases.
• Review and present MIS reports, dashboards, business reviews, and performance insights to senior management.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, and Customer Experience teams to improve business performance.
• Identify process gaps and implement initiatives to improve revenue, collection efficiency, productivity, and customer experience.
• Ensure strict adherence to company policies, SOPs, compliance requirements, and collection guidelines.
• Establish effective performance monitoring, incentive, and recognition mechanisms to drive team motivation.
• Forecast business performance and proactively plan resources to achieve future targets.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

We’re looking for a candidate who is:

• Experienced in Telesales / Inside Sales / Upselling / Debt Collection / Customer Retention / Contact Centre Operations.
• Proven experience in team leadership and people management.
• Strong track record of achieving sales and collection targets.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MIS reporting, dashboards, and performance analytics.
• Ability to convert data and performance insights into business strategies and actionable plans.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer escalation-handling skills.
• Willing to work on the last Sunday of every month (Compensatory Off provided).

Work Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Work Location: Kelambakkam, Chennai
Last Sunday: Mandatory working | Compensatory Off provided
