Job summary

Zetwerk in Tamil Nadu is seeking a Project Planner to develop and maintain detailed project schedules spanning engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover activities.

You will monitor site progress, manage resources, coordinate with site teams, and prepare MIS reports including dashboards and S-curves. Strong planning tools experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Track daily/weekly site progress against the approved baseline schedule.
• Plan manpower, machinery, materials, and other resources to meet milestones.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and MIS.
• Identify delays and risks, analyze them, and develop recovery plans.
• Monitor subcontractor schedules and productivity.
• Prepare WBS, look-ahead schedules, resource histograms, using Primavera P6 / MS Project / Excel.

• Project Planning & Scheduling Develop and maintain detailed project schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Site Progress Monitoring – Track daily/weekly site progress against the approved baseline schedule and identify delays or deviations.
• Resource Planning – Plan manpower, machinery, materials, and other resources required to meet project milestones.
• Coordination with Site Teams – Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Safety, and Project Management teams to ensure smooth execution.
• MIS & Progress Reporting – Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, dashboards, S-curves, and other planning-related MIS.
• Delay & Risk Analysis – Identify critical activities, monitor project risks, analyze delays, and develop recovery/action plans.
• Subcontractor Planning – Monitor subcontractor schedules and productivity, ensuring activities are completed as per agreed timelines and project requirements.
• Planning Tools & Documentation – Prepare and update WBS, look-ahead schedules, resource histograms, and other planning documents using Primavera P6 / MS Project / Excel.
