Job summary

Adani Transmission (ATL) in India is seeking a seasoned Industrial Security professional to oversee plant security operations across gates, process areas, and critical installations.

The role focuses on access control, CCTV surveillance, material security, incident investigations, emergency response, and contractor security management. A graduate with 5–8 years of relevant experience is preferred, with security management qualifications highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline is acceptable; security qualifications preferred.
• 5-8 years of experience in Industrial Security and related areas such as access control, CCTV, loss prevention, incident investigation, audits and risk assessment.
• Preference from copper/metals, steel, cement, petrochemicals, power, or defence backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deployment and supervision of security personnel across plant gates, process areas, warehouses, township and critical installations.
• Monitor site security operations 24x7 via field surveillance and control room coordination.
• Conduct security inspections, patrols, and audits; ensure compliance with SOPs, policies and statutory requirements.
• Monitor entry-exit management for employees, contractors, and visitors; enforce gate pass and vehicle protocols.
• Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas and secure materials and inventories.
• Monitor CCTV and access control systems; investigate alerts and coordinate corrective actions.
• In emergencies, act as security coordinator; coordinate with fire safety, local authorities, and law enforcement.
• Verify contractor security compliance; conduct awareness sessions and manage contractor movements.
• Maintain security records, logs, investigations, and audit documents; support internal/external security audits.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, HR, Administration, Logistics, Commercial, Safety; liaise with CISF, police and port authorities where applicable.

Security Operations

• Ensure effective deployment and supervision of security manpower across plant gates, process areas, warehouses, township, and critical installations.
• Monitor site security operations on a 24x7 basis through field surveillance and control room coordination.
• Conduct routine security inspections, patrols, and audits across the complex.
• Ensure compliance with security SOPs, policies, and statutory requirements.

Access Control Visitor Management

• Monitor employee, contractor, and visitor entry-exit management systems.
• Ensure compliance with gate pass procedures and vehicle movement protocols.
• Prevent unauthorized access to restricted and sensitive operational areas.

Material Security

• Monitor inward and outward movement of raw materials, copper cathodes, anodes, scrap, precious metals, consumables, and finished goods.
• Conduct security verification for dispatches, inventories, and warehouse operations.
• Minimize material pilferage, theft, fraud, and security breaches.

Surveillance Control Room Monitoring

• Monitor CCTV systems, access control systems, boom barriers, and perimeter security infrastructure.
• Investigate security alerts and abnormal incidents.
• Coordinate corrective actions and escalation for identified threats.

Incident Management

• Investigate security violations, theft attempts, material losses, and unauthorized activities.
• Prepare incident reports and security findings.
• Support root cause analysis and implementation of preventive measures.

Emergency Response

• Act as security coordinator during emergencies such as fire, industrial incidents, natural disasters, and crisis situations.
• Coordinate with Fire Safety teams, local administration, and law enforcement agencies.
• Participate in mock drills and emergency preparedness exercises.

Contractor Security Management

• Verify contractor manpower deployment and compliance with security protocols.
• Ensure contractor vehicle and equipment movement controls.
• Conduct security awareness sessions for contractors and vendors.

Compliance Governance

• Ensure compliance with Factories Act requirements and organizational security standards.
• Maintain security records, logs, investigation reports, and audit documents.
• Support internal and external security audits.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, HR, Administration, Logistics, Commercial, and Safety teams.
• Coordinate with CISF, Police, Customs, Intelligence Agencies, and Port Authorities wherever applicable.
