Job summary

PepsiCo Hyderabad invites applications for a Deduction Analyst role within the North America Beverage organization. You will support the sales customer team by managing settlements for trade promotions, analyzing payments and deductions, and validating invoices with the Market team.

The ideal candidate has 5–6 years of Finance/Sales experience, a commerce/finance degree (Masters a plus), and strong data skills with Excel and PowerPoint. FMCG exposure and excellent communication are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of experience in Finance/Sales (for L05)
• Bachelor in commerce/business administration/marketing or Finance; Masters preferred
• Experience in FMCG is preferred
• Strong data analysis skills with large data sets
• Excellent communication and collaboration with teams
• Strong MS Office proficiency

Responsibilities

• Processing and reconciliation of Payments/Deduction invoices and monitoring approvals from Stakeholders
• Invoice analysis, breakdown by segmentation and ensure timely closure of tactics post payments and manage trade Spend in respective accounts
• Communicate Risks and Opportunities to Sales team/Control/Finance
• Validate Tactic pricing with Pricing Grids for any discrepancy in accruals and invoice
• Payments and funding tracking for vendors
• Manage expectations through verbal and written interactions with internal teams including sales, Finance and Control
• Ensure delivery of accurate and timely payment data in accordance with SLA
• Implement continued improvements and simplifications of processes, standardization of reporting and optimal use of technology (Automation)

Overview

This position will be part of the North America Beverage organization. This position contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by supporting the sales customer team. The Deduction Analyst will manage the settlements for Trade Promotions. The role will work on analysing, calculating and validating the payments and deductions. Deduction analyst will work with dedicated Market team to review the payment invoices and processing deduction and payments on TPM. The role will be responsible for accurate calculation on payments due, identifying and raising any variances.

Responsibilities
