About the Roles
The Sales & Growth Enablement role sits at the heart of EXL's Growth engine. This individual will serve as a critical connector between Industry Market Unit (IMU) leadership, client-facing sales teams, and the central Growth Office — ensuring that pipeline data is accurate, decisions are insight-led, and strategic initiatives land with velocity.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable operating across organizational levels, and brings sharp analytical instincts paired with strong execution discipline.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Management & Reporting
- Own end-to-end pipeline tracking across Insurance BU — new logos, named accounts, large deals, and strategic accounts — ensuring data accuracy and timeliness in Salesforce (SFDC).
- Create, maintain, and continuously enhance SFDC dashboards; proactively flag pipeline risks, stalls, and opportunities to relevant stakeholders.
- Publish regular pipeline insights and deal prioritization views for BU leads, Client Executives, and Growth Office leadership.
- Track and report against pipeline-related OKR targets, providing variance analysis and trend commentary.
Leadership Reviews & Governance
- Drive preparation and facilitation of monthly and quarterly pipeline reviews, business reviews, and growth calls with senior leadership — owning agendas, pre-reads, action trackers, and follow-through.
- Support bi-monthly leadership reviews; coordinate cross-functionally to ensure completeness and accuracy of inputs.
- Enable effective weekly/ bi-monthly sales and growth calls — track open actions to closure and elevate blockers proactively.
Executive Engagement & Strategic Initiatives
- Track and report on Executive Engagement activities; provide leadership with a consolidated view of client relationship health and engagement cadence.
- Create operating processes and rhythms to monitor progress of strategic initiatives; identify and resolve bottlenecks with urgency.
Sales Enablement & Best Practices
- Educate and guide the sales team on pipeline hygiene standards and SFDC best practices; drive adoption and compliance.
- Support business case creation, editing, and ongoing upkeep for key deals and strategic pursuits.
- Provide market research support and help synthesize competitive intelligence to sharpen deal strategies.
Solutions Pipeline & Customer Intelligence
- Support annual Customer Satisfaction Survey — structure data, identify themes, and prepare executive-ready summaries.
- Assist in the creation and refinement of presentations for internal leadership audiences.
What We're Looking For
Experience & Qualifications
- 5–6 years of experience in sales operations, growth operations, strategy, or business operations — preferably within professional services, operations, or technology.
- Prior exposure to the Insurance or Financial Services domain is a strong advantage.
- Hands‑on experience with Salesforce (SFDC) — dashboard creation, pipeline management, and reporting preferred.
- Graduate / Post-Graduate in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Skills & Competencies
- Analytical mindset — able to synthesize large datasets into clear, decision‑ready insights for senior leadership.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; independently builds polished, executive‑ready models and decks.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills — articulates complex pipeline and business data clearly and confidently across levels.
- Demonstrated ability to connect dots across multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and discussions.
- Strong relationship management — comfortable influencing without authority across BU teams, sales leaders, and the Growth Office.
- High ownership, proactivity, and follow‑through; thrives in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.
- Basic understanding of P&L, deal economics, and business case fundamentals.
