Job summary

SV Management Consultants in India is seeking a Production & Tool Maintenance Manager (AM) for Roll Forming & Sheet Metal to lead production, tool maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will work under the Roll Forming HOD to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot roll forming and stamping tool-related issues on production lines.
• Analyze tool failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support production teams in resolving tool-related quality and productivity concerns.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for roll forming and stamping tools.
• Safety: Zero Lost Time Accident (LTA), closure of safety observations and near misses.
• Production: Achievement of daily/monthly production plan and delivery targets.
• Quality: Reduction in rejection, rework, customer complaints, and process defects.
• Productivity: Improvement in OEE, machine utilization, and labor productivity.
• Maintenance: Tool availability, tool life improvement, reduction in breakdowns and downtime.
• Cost: Material yield improvement, consumable cost reduction, and implementation of cost-saving projects.
• Continuous Improvement: Kaizen implementation, TPM activities, and operational excellence initiatives.

Department: Manufacturing Roll Forming & Sheet Metal

Reporting: Roll forming HOD (assist to Team Leader)

Purpose of the Role

To assist the HOD Roll Forming in managing Production, Tool Maintenance, Engineering, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence activities. The role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while achieving Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity targets.
