Job summary

Kandui Industries in India is seeking an Assistant Manager R&D Fiber to lead color development in master-batch and polymer applications, focusing on shade creation, colorant selection, and formulation in R&D.

You will coordinate with QA during production, evaluate formulations with spectrophotometer data, and drive cost reductions through trials and optimization to meet customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in color development in R&D fiber within the master-batch or polymer industry.
• Formulation in R&D.
• New shade development for Textile as per customer requirement.
• Selection of Colorant chemistry as per application requirement for textile and flooring yarn.

Responsibilities

• Develop color concepts for R&D fiber in master-batch/polymer contexts.
• Assist in formulation development and evaluation for color-related products.
• Support new shade development for textiles per customer requirements.
• Coordinate with QC/production to ensure product conformity to standards.
• Provide color matching support using spectrophotometer data and libraries.
• Handle customer complaints related to color and shade accuracy.

Required Skills

• Experience in color development in R&D fiber within the master-batch or polymer industry.
• Take care of all developments.
• Formulation in R&D
• IV of all polyster MB
• New shade development for Textile as per customer requirement.
• Selection of Colorant chemistry as per application requirement for textile and flooring yarn.
• Selection of Colorant chemistry as per application requirement for textile and Flooring yarn like ( Bathrugs , Automotive , General textile, outdoor textile and carpet) and polymer PET, PP..
• Regular Library database upgradation in spectrophotometer software for quick color matching
• Product evaluation & trails for cost reduction .
• Work with quality control lab during production to ensure product Conformity with standards.
• Responsible for processing handling & problem shootout during plant Operation.
• Online & offline Correction of Rejected MB from Q.C.
• Customer complaint handling
• RECIPE/ FORMULATION EVALUTION & ANALYSIS FROM SPECTRO PHOTOMETER.
• Presentation & shade card preparation for customer & library Role & responsibilities
