Job summary

Oberoi Realty is looking for a Quality Professional in Mumbai Suburban with a graduate degree in Civil Engineering or a diploma. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in QC and knowledge of RCC and finishing works for high-rise buildings.

The candidate will be involved in site monitoring, preparing reports, and documentation of QA/QC records. A comprehensive understanding of National and International Codes is essential.

Responsibilities

• Check site work as per QA/QC norms and method statements.
• Monitor concrete pour and compliance with SOP.
• Prepare NCR reports and site observation sheets.
• Report deviations to QA/QC manager.
• Maintain quality checks of materials as per specifications.
• Monitor waterproofing work as per methodology.
• Perform lab testing related to concrete raw materials.

Job description

Job Description for Quality

Quality experience in ID , Finishing work and RCC.

1. Checking for site work as per QA/QC norms & SOP, method statement activities for RCC & ARCH. drawing, centre line, foundation, column, slab, finishing activities etc.
2. Monitoring the concrete pour & checking as per SOP.
3. Prepared NCR report & site observation sheet.
4. Reporting to QA/QC manager on deviations from specification & system.
5. Maintaining a quality check of all materials required as per ITP & company specification.
6. Monitoring the waterproofing work as per methodology.
7. Witnessing and checking proportion & activities as per SOP & method statement bricks & block work, plaster, gypsum, waterproofing, tiles & dado, paints, admixtures proportions etc.
8. Checking of fresh concrete mix such as taking slump test, flow test, sampling for cube casting and trial mix for mix design.
9. Making trial mix design and checking for concrete fresh & hardened properties.
10. Witness of various RMC plant concrete mix design trial for approval basis & maintain report.
11. Carry out all lab testing related to concrete raw material such as sand , crush sand, aggregate (10&20mm), cement , fly ash , GGBS etc.
12. Checking of all incoming material as per IS & company specification. External lab testing as per ITP frequency.
13. Witnessing crushing strengths of concrete cubes, bricks, blocks, gypsum, pavers & checking of steel on daily basis record of results in register. Take authentication from QA/ QC head.
14. Documentation of all QA/QC records updating in computer formats.

Experience & Qualification

The Candidate should be Graduate in Civil Engineer/ Diploma in Engineering with minimum 5 years of work experience. He should have good knowledge about RCC works, finishing works of residential high-rise buildings and be aware of relevant National and International Codes for concrete, finishing, plumbing and construction activities.
