Diageo seeks an Assistant Manager Quality to build quality systems per GRMS, manage site quality protocols, and lead sampling, analysis, and investigations across the site. The role oversees incoming/outgoing product approvals in line with site SOPs.
You will coordinate with Procurement, Production, Engineering and Dispatch, interfacing with central audit teams and regulators to maintain compliance and drive food safety culture.

As an Assistant Manager Quality, role is responsible for building the quality systems in accordance with GRMS guidelines, managing the indirect reports of the site for adhering necessary protocols of sampling, analysis, GMP, Food Safety, in-process analysis and finished product analysis.
The role will need to operate within our SOA and be responsible for analysis and approval of Incoming and Outgoing products of site.
Defining the roadmap for progress of quality culture at site.
Enhancing food safety standards across the site operations.
Building the sitewide quality protocols.
Preparing annual quality budget for upkeeping, updating and maintaining the quality function assets for inspection, analysis and calibration.
Analysis and Reporting of Compliance
Sampling, Analysis & reporting of results in Diageo format and SAP ; Leading GRMS, EY, FSSAI and LMR Compliance.
Daily Operational Review
Bringing up the concerns of quality from floor and escalating to Site head as and when required for its timely closure.
Audit
Auditing the quality standards compliance levels and drafting action plans.
Training
Defining quality training need analysis and delivering training for team.
Partnership and sustainability
Working with Global Quality, Central Quality and R&D team for creating new systems, change management and Pilot trials and Sustainability.
Post Graduation in Food Science / Chemistry/Microbiology/Alcohol Technology is desirable.
MBA in Quality Management is optional.
