Job summary

TÜV SÜD South Asia Pvt. Ltd. in Arakkonam, India is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to lead QMS implementation and audit management in a textile/leather testing lab. The role focuses on continual improvement and compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017.

Responsibilities include reviewing reports, maintaining traceability to standards, coordinating internal and external audits, and ensuring staff competency through training. The position offers onsite work and a full-time, permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Experience in implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems (QMS) as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
• Trained on ISO/IEC 17025:2017 (4 Days Training).
• Experience in Leather or Textile Testing Laboratory Quality Assurance activities.
• Knowledge of audit handling, calibration traceability, SOP implementation, CAPA, and complaint management.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for QMS implementation, audit management, quality control activities, compliance monitoring, and continual improvement of laboratory operations.
• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Quality Management System.
• Review test reports and calibration certificates and ensure traceability to standards.
• Ensure quality of test results through IQC, ILC, and Proficiency Testing (PT).
• Manage non-conforming work, customer complaints, RCA, CAPA, and effectiveness verification.
• Conduct internal audits, coordinate external audits, and monitor corrective actions.
• Ensure personnel competency through training, authorization, supervision, and performance monitoring.
• Report QMS performance and improvement opportunities to management.

Key Responsibilities
