Job summary

Mployee.me is seeking a QA/QC Site Engineer in Bengaluru to lead daily site inspections across civil, structural, MEP, finishing, and interior works. You will monitor material quality, inspect workmanship at each stage, and ensure compliance with project specs.

Responsibilities include approving method statements, BBS, and mock-ups before execution, calibrating equipment, identifying non-conformities, and maintaining test records for closure.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: Relevant experience in QA/QC within construction projects.
• Industry Preference: Commercial buildings, hospitals, hotels, IT parks, high‑rise buildings, and large-scale construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily site inspections for civil, structural, MEP, finishing, and interior works.
• Monitor material quality by coordinating with labs for cube tests, steel tests, concrete mix designs, waterproofing checks, etc.
• Inspect workmanship at each stage of excavation, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, blockwork, plastering, painting, flooring, etc.
• Verify and approve method statements, bar bending schedules (BBS), and mock-ups before execution.
• Ensure proper calibration of equipment, tools, and testing instruments at site.
• Identify non-conformities (NCRs), report deviations, and ensure timely corrective measures.
• Maintain detailed inspection reports, checklists, and test records for all construction activities.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to close quality issues.
• Ensure handover documentation including test certificates, warranties, and as-built drawings are complete before project closure.
