Job summary

Lotus Technicals Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Site Project Engineer to oversee technical aspects of construction projects in Thane. You will coordinate with design teams, review drawings for site compliance, and manage daily on-site activities to meet timelines and budgets.

The role requires strong coordination, team leadership, and excellent communication with clients and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.

Responsibilities

• Identify project goals, objectives and scope and follow the project schedule with tasks, timelines and resources.
• Oversee all technical aspects of the project.
• Understand all design drawings related to site execution and ensure they fit site conditions.
• Coordinate with design team for changes in construction drawings as needed at site.
• Verify installations by team members daily and make corrections as required.
• Maintain daily site reports and track progress against the project plan.
• Organize tools and tackle and ensure proper handling and on-site availability.
• Attend site meetings and update project heads on issues, resolutions and timelines.

Job description

• Toidentify the project's goals, objectives, and scope and to follow the projectschedule that outlines the tasks, timelines, and resources required for thegiven project.
  
• Tooversee all the technical aspects of the project.
  
• Tounderstand all design documents and drawings related to site execution.
  
• Tocomplete the project within the agreed budget and timelines.
  
• Toensure verification of the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) along with materials available on-site by other teammembers.
  
• Tocheck all the construction drawings with respect to site conditions.
  
• Tocoordinate with the design team for changes in construction drawings inalliance with the site project head.
  
• Toensure that work is not executed without approved construction drawings thatsuit to site.
  
• Toverify all the installations done by team members on a daily basis and makenecessary corrections, if any.
  
• T o help the team members in identifyingthe proper BOQ items and manage daily material issues from stores.
  
• To follow all the working and safetyprotocols at the site as per requirements.
  
• To ensure that a daily site report areprepared on the work done and track the same with the project plan.
  
• To report changes, if any, with properexplanations for delays or otherwise.
  
• To prepare and get approval on thestage-wise work completion reports wherever required from the client on aregular basis.
  
• To take care of the tools and tackles andensure that they are handled properly and are not misplaced at the site.
  

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Toassign and monitor the work allotted to the site team (Heating, Ventilation,Air Conditioning ( HVAC), electrical, utility, etc.
  
• Tocoordinate effectively between the design and site teams.
  
• Toensure proper installation of systems such as HVAC, air compressors, watersystems, chillers, mechanical piping, plumbing, hot water generators, Diesel Generator Sets (DG) , fire hydrants, Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) , ManagementEffectiveness Evaluation (MEE) ,cooling towers, utility equipment and piping, boilers, heat exchangers,formulation equipment, automated packing lines, Closed Circuit Television(CCTV), access control, and fire alarm systems (FAS).
  
• Tohighlight any variances to the project head.
  
• Tohighlight any issues and problems to the project head.
  
• Toorganize proper utilities and working tools for the team members at the site.
  
• Toappraise the team members on their daily work as per the work schedule.
  
• Totake reports from the team members on the daily work and highlight issuesrelated to deviations of work with respect to construction drawings. Explain tothem possible corrections and the next action plan.
  
• Toensure that all the team members are working as per the quality standards andthat the speed of work is as per the requirements.
  
• To attend site meetings on a regularbasis and appraise the project heads on the issues, possible resolutions, timeschedule, etc.
  
• To be responsible for the attendance ofthe workmen at the site and ensure that they work as per the stipulated time.

Knowledge:

• Shouldhave knowledge of Auto-CAD & MS-Project (project scheduling).
  
• Shouldbe familiar with cleanroom installation work (cleanroom modular partitions
  
• Shouldbe familiar with Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) installation workand qualification activities.
  
• Shouldbe familiar with general and hygienic utility work, including equipment andpiping.
  
• Shouldbe familiar with electrification works.
  

Preferred Knowledge:

1. ProjectManagement Qualification (PMP), Certified Associate and Project Management(CAPM), or equivalent experience as a Project Engineer would be an addedadvantage.
