Job summary

Errand Enterprises is seeking a technically proficient engineer to prepare and coordinate proposals for water and wastewater projects. The role involves studying tender docs, developing automation architectures, and assembling BOMs for PLC/SCADA/HMI systems.

You will work with process, electrical, mechanical, and procurement teams, draft FDS and control narratives, review drawings, and liaise with panel manufacturers and system integrators.

Qualifications

• Prepare technical and techno-commercial proposals for Water & Wastewater projects.
• Study tender documents, technical specs, BOQs, P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and customer requirements.
• Develop automation architecture, I/O lists, control philosophy, and instrumentation specifications.
• Prepare PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFD, MCC, PCC, and instrumentation bill of materials.
• Coordinate with process, electrical, mechanical, and procurement teams during proposal and execution stages.
• Prepare functional design specifications (FDS), cause & effect matrices, control narratives, and instrumentation datasheets.
• Review electrical drawings, GA drawings, cable schedules, panel layouts, and loop diagrams.
• Coordinate with PLC panel manufacturers and system integrators.
• Provide technical support during project execution, FAT, SAT, and commissioning.
• Interact with customers, consultants, and vendors for technical clarifications.
• Ensure timely submission of proposals while maintaining quality and compliance with project specifications.
• Prepare project documentation, operation manuals, and as-built documentation.
• Support the sales team during technical presentations and customer meetings.

Responsibilities
