Job summary

Medikabazaar is seeking an experienced Application Product Specialist for Radiology Medical Equipment. You will provide product application support, clinical demonstrations, and technical guidance for CT, MRI, Mammography, and DR systems.

You will train customers, support pre-sales, and collaborate with Sales, Service, and Marketing to optimize workflows and image quality across PAN India. Travel extensively to installations and demonstrations will be required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on radiology applications experience including CT, MRI, Mammography and DR.
• Strong knowledge of imaging workflows and clinical applications.
• Experience in training clinicians, radiologists and technicians.

Application Product Specialist – Radiology Medical Equipment

Job Summary

Medikabazaar is looking for an experienced and dynamic Application Product Specialist for Radiology Medical Equipment. The candidate will be responsible for providing product application support, clinical demonstrations, customer training, and technical guidance for radiology equipment including CT, MRI, Mammography, and Digital Radiography (DR) systems. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in radiology applications and strong knowledge of imaging workflows, customer handling, and product demonstrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide application support and product demonstrations for CT, MRI, Mammography, and Digital Radiography systems.
• Conduct product presentations, customer training, and clinical application sessions for radiologists, clinicians, and technicians.
• Support the sales team during customer meetings, product evaluations, installations, and pre-sales discussions.
• Demonstrate product features, workflow optimization, image quality benefits, and clinical applications to end users.
• Coordinate with the Sales team for smooth transition from installation to successful handover of the equipment to the customer.
• Assist customers in troubleshooting application-related issues and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Conduct site visits for pre-sales and post-sales demonstrations and ensure successful demonstration and user acceptance of the equipment.
• Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, diagnostic centers, radiologists, and technicians while creating and nurturing Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) who can indirectly support product promotion and sales growth.
• Gather market intelligence and provide feedback regarding customer requirements, competition, and product enhancements.
• Support marketing activities such as workshops, CMEs, conferences, product launches, and customer engagement programs.
• Stay updated with advancements in radiology technologies, imaging protocols, and clinical applications.
• Work closely with Product Management, Sales, Service, and Marketing teams to support business objectives.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through timely application support and effective resolution of user queries.
• Travel extensively across assigned territories and support customers on a PAN India basis.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience in Radiology Applications/Product Specialist role for medical imaging equipment.
• Hands‑on experience with CT, MRI, Mammography, and Digital Radiography systems.
• Strong understanding of radiology workflows and imaging protocols.
• Good communication, presentation, and training skills.
• Ability to work closely with sales, service, and clinical teams.
• Customer‑focused approach with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively as per business requirements.

Educational Qualification

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Radiology, Medical Imaging Technology, Medical Imaging Sciences, or equivalent qualification.
• Experienced Application Technicians with hands‑on expertise in CT, MRI, Mammography, and Digital Radiography (DR) systems will also be considered.
• Relevant certifications in Radiology Applications or Medical Imaging Technologies will be an added advantage.

Experience Required

• 5 to 10 years of experience in Radiology Applications/Product Specialist role within the medical equipment industry.
• Prior experience with OEMs or healthcare equipment companies preferred.
