Job summary

Ruby Ailcare Services in Pune seeks an experienced Radiology Operations Lead to manage daily CT and MRI workflows, supervise radiography teams, and ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory protocols.

You will coordinate with radiologists and hospital staff to optimize patient care, monitor KPIs, oversee equipment maintenance and vendor relations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a high-volume imaging department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Radiology or Medical Imaging as required by regulations.
  • Relevant certification/registration as applicable by regulations.
  • 4-5 years of CT/MRI experience with supervisory/managerial exposure.
  • Strong knowledge of CT/MRI procedures, safety standards, and quality control.
  • Experience in high-volume diagnostic imaging operations.
  • Familiarity with hospital workflows, patient safety, and quality-management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day CT and MRI operations with optimal equipment/utilization.
  • Supervise radiographers/technologists; manage duty rosters, attendance, performance, and manpower planning.
  • Ensure CT/MRI procedures follow approved protocols, clinical standards, and patient-safety guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with CT/MRI safety, radiation safety, AERB, NABH, and hospital policies.
  • Monitor image quality, repeat scans, turnaround time, patient waiting time, and departmental KPIs.
  • Coordinate with radiologists, clinicians, nursing, front office, billing, and other departments for efficient patient care.
  • Oversee equipment performance, preventive maintenance, breakdown management, and vendor coordination.
  • Manage contrast-media protocols, patient screening, emergency preparedness, infection control, and safety procedures.
  • Conduct staff training, competency assessments, quality audits, incident reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and review MIS/KPI reports, inventory requirements, operational budgets, and cost-control measures.

Preferred candidate profile :-
  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Radiology or Medical Imaging Technology or equivalent.
  • Relevant certification/registration as required by applicable regulations.
  • 4-5 years of experience in CT/MRI, preferably with supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Strong practical knowledge of CT and MRI procedures, protocols, safety standards, and quality control.
  • Experience handling high-volume diagnostic imaging operations.
  • Good knowledge of hospital workflows, patient safety, and quality-management systems.
