Job summary

Model Institute Of Engineering And Technology is seeking a dedicated Alumni Relations professional to strengthen connections with graduates and industry partners, facilitating mentoring, placements, and strategic university linkages.

You will manage the alumni database, design annual engagement plans, coordinate events across major Indian cities, and collaborate with departments to showcase alumni achievements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and regularly update the alumni database across all departments and graduating batches.
• Develop and implement an annual alumni engagement plan with measurable targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with alumni through regular communication and engagement initiatives.
• Organise alumni meets, reunions, networking events, and guest lectures at MIET and in major Indian cities.
• Engage alumni in student mentoring, career guidance, internships, placements, and entrepreneurship initiatives.
• Connect with distinguished alumni, industry professionals, and entrepreneurs to create opportunities for students and strengthen institutional linkages.
• Coordinate with academic departments, the Training and Placement Cell, and the MIET Alumni Association to implement alumni engagement activities.
• Document and promote alumni achievements and success stories through the institutional website, newsletters, and social media.
• Support alumni chapters and encourage greater alumni participation.
• Maintain records of alumni interactions, events, and contributions while ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Prepare reports and verified alumni data for accreditation, rankings, institutional reviews, and quality assurance.
• Undertake other related responsibilities as assigned by the institution.
