The role requires 4–6 years in Operational Excellence or Industrial Engineering in bakery, FMCG or manufacturing settings; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is mandatory. PKU and TPM/Kaizen exposure are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive productivity, quality, cost reduction and process optimization projects; track savings.
• Develop SOPs, work instructions and standard work procedures; implement improvement actions.
• Support QMS, food safety, GMP, HACCP, ISO and other standards.

Experience

• 4 to 6 years of experience in Operational Excellence, Industrial Engineering, Continuous Improvement.
• Experience in Bakery, Food Processing, FMCG or Manufacturing industries preferred.

Job Purpose

To drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations through Lean methodology and Quality Management Systems, and data‑driven problem solving. The role is responsible for improving productivity, quality, cost, delivery, safety, and overall operational efficiency across manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities

Continuous Improvement

• Facilitate Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Visual management & waste elimination initiatives across plants.
• Identify improvement opportunities through data analysis, Gemba walks, process mapping.
• Drive productivity improvement, quality improvement, cost reduction and process optimization projects.
• Conduct time study, value stream mapping (VSM) studies and implement improvement actions.
• Develop SOPs, work instructions, checklists, and standard work procedures.
• Support implementation of QMS, food safety, GMP, HACCP, ISO, and other operational standards.

Project Management

• Manage Operational Excellence projects from concept to implementation.
• Coordinate with production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and planning teams.
• Track project milestones, timelines, and savings realization.
• Prepare monthly review presentations for management.

Performance Management

• Develop & monitor Operational Excellence KPIs including productivity, QHSE, waste, OTIF and cost metrics.
• Create dashboards and reports.
• Track project progress and benefits, ensure sustainability of improvements.

Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis

• Facilitate root cause analysis using tools such as 5 Why, fishbone diagram, Pareto analysis, and PDCA.
• Support manufacturing teams in resolving chronic operational issues.
• Lead cross‑functional improvement projects to address quality, productivity, and efficiency gaps.
