Job summary

Edme Insurance Brokers in India seeks a Relationship Manager to grow the motor insurance business through dealer tie-ups. You will build and maintain networks with dealerships, insurance partners, and workshops to drive revenue, manage enrollments, and support renewal activities.

The role requires regular visits to dealer sites, proactive issue resolution, and training of dealer staff on insurance basics and product benefits.

Responsibilities

• Generate revenue and achieve targets by expanding penetration, acquiring new channels, increasing ticket size and renewal retention targets.
• Call periodic meetings with dealerships and insurers for issue resolution, engagement and review.
• Circulate dealer performance MIS to dealers and sales heads for tracking growth/decline and partner profitability.
• Maintain effective and value-adding relationships with all stakeholders.
• Create win-win situations for all business stakeholders.
• Ensure timely MISP fee disbursement to dealer partners.
• Periodically visit dealership sites and workshops; maintain formal and informal networks.
• Resolve dealer and B2B partner queries; escalate issues to Regional Head/Program Manager B2B as required.
• Coordinate and maintain relations with insurers to ensure smooth claim settlement.
• Collect feedback from dealerships and B2B partners to improve customer service.
• Impart trainings on basics of insurance and motor insurance to dealer sales and workshop executives.
• Train on customized products and their benefits to customers/dealers.
• Resolve product and service queries and escalate issues as required.
• Maintain and track product penetration.
• Ensure service levels are maintained.
• Solicit dealers/partners to sell policies.
• Tie up with dealers for promotions during renewal camps.
• Ensure designated person is trained and updated with regulatory guidelines.
• Reconcile MISP fee payments to dealers.
• Ensure premium payments are made by dealers within TATs; follow up with insurers for clearance and upload of 64 VB on POs.
