Ugaoo Agritech Pvt Ltd is expanding its plant-focused retail footprint with 20+ COCO stores across Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Nashik and Bangalore, and more on the way. We are redefining how customers engage with plants.

We’re looking for a sharp, data-savvy Merchandiser to ensure the right products are at the right place, at the right time, translating consumer insights into product planning, achieving high availability without overstocking, and keeping our in-store assortment fresh and relevant.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in retail merchandising, preferably in consumer or lifestyle categories.
• Strong analytical skills—comfortable interpreting large data sets to drive decisions.
• Experience in inventory management, demand forecasting, and assortment planning.
• Collaborative and proactive mindset to work with operations, sourcing, and store teams.
• A knack for balancing data with intuition—understanding what customers want before they do.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal product availability across all stores, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
• Monitor sales velocity and product performance to refine replenishment cycles.
• Build and execute product lifecycle plans to maintain a balance between newness and bestsellers.
• Plan monthly/fortnightly ordering cycles based on sales trends, store performance, and seasonality.
• Forecast demand for own-branded products and align with production and supply chain teams.
• Raise timely POs; track delivery adherence with store and warehouse teams.
• Partner with store operations to troubleshoot product availability, stock discrepancies, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with the supply chain team to manage MOQs, lead times, and fill rates efficiently.
• Ensure margin targets are met by aligning procurement with pricing and promotions strategy.
• Ensure freshness targets are met with regular SKU rotations and fast replenishments.
