Responsibilities

• Ensure high equipment availability and minimum breakdown through effective maintenance practices.
• Daily shop-floor management: conduct maintenance reviews and monitor equipment performance.
• Drive preventive maintenance (PM) and autonomous maintenance; uphold maintenance standards.
• Understand bottling, blending, utilities, and racking/material handling systems.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions for chronic issues.
• Drive Kaizen, automation, mechanization and equipment improvement initiatives.
• Support engineering projects, machine modifications, installation and commissioning.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of mechanical assembly, pumps, valves, conveyors, pneumatics and maintenance.
• Develop local vendors for fabrication, spares, services and cost-effective in-house solutions.
• Manage maintenance requirements, vendor negotiation, technical evaluation and timely PR/PO closure.

About the role

• Ensure high equipment availability and minimum breakdown through effective maintenance practices.
• Daily Shop-Floor Management: Conduct daily maintenance reviews, monitor equipment performance and close critical concerns.
• PM AM: Drive Preventive Maintenance, Autonomous Maintenance and maintenance standards.

• Spare Inventory Management: Review critical spares, consumables, engineering inventory and ensure timely replenishment.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Use breakdown, downtime, PM, OEE, spare consumption and other data to prioritize actions.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with Production, Quality, EHS, Procurement, Stores and external vendors.
• Cost Performance Focus: Drive reduction in downtime, maintenance cost and recurring failures while improving OEE and reliability.
