The Continental Europe finance team based in India supports the CE business. The team is responsible for the financial accounting and reporting of European entities along with managing Irish branch operations. The team is also responsible for providing management information, monitoring risks & controls, ensuring compliance with the financial regulations of the local regulators, etc.
This role is an excellent opportunity to gain a broad understanding of Continental Europe financial controllership and its role in FIL’s Financial Services business. The role will be primarily around handling accounting and monthly reporting. The successful applicant will be exposed to USGAAP based accounting and would be required to demonstrate flexibility and enthusiasm towards ad hoc queries and analysis and work with various teams like operations, business finance, treasury.
Qualified Accountant (CA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent) with 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting, Audit, or Assurance.
